The SLA

72 hours to prep. Then same-day across SoCal.

Order by 2pm PT Monday–Thursday. We prep your full order inside 72 hours. Orders of 50 boxes or more to LA, Orange County, or San Diego get same-day hand-delivery on the prep-complete day — by our own driver, not a carrier label. Under 50 boxes or outside SoCal: tracked ground ship, 1–5 business days after prep. No form, no call-in — the SLA applies automatically at checkout.

How the clock works.

Step 01

You order by 2pm PT

Monday through Thursday. Orders placed later in the day start the prep clock the next business morning at 9am PT.

Step 02

We prep inside 72 hours

Signature, Premium, and Executive boxes come together from curated inventory we already own — no logo-print wait, no supplier ping. Prep is from our Costa Mesa studio.

Step 03

50+ SoCal: same-day hand-delivery

Orders of 50+ boxes to LA / OC / SD go out with our own driver on the prep-complete day — signature required, left at reception or with a named recipient.

Step 04

<50 or nationwide: tracked ground ship

Individual boxes and out-of-state recipients ship tracked ground the hour prep wraps. Usually 1–3 days inside SoCal, 2–5 days CONUS. Recipient gets a tracking link the same hour.

The SoCal hand-delivery zone, by ZIP.

Six counties, roughly 150 miles of coastline. If your recipient list is in any of the ZIP ranges below and the order is 50+ boxes, same-day hand-delivery applies automatically at checkout. Under 50 boxes ships tracked ground the hour prep wraps.

Don't see your ZIP? If it's adjacent to one of the zones above, text us — we'll check and quote same-day if we can cover it. Anything outside SoCal, or any order under 50 boxes, ships tracked ground in 1–5 business days after our 72-hour prep window (not covered by the same-day hand-delivery SLA).

The honest fine print.

We wrote this like an escrow officer would — exact, not bureaucratic. The exceptions below are the only reasons our 72-hour prep SLA slips.

  • 50-box threshold for hand-delivery, always.

Same-day SoCal hand-delivery unlocks at 50 boxes on a single order. Under 50 boxes (even to a Costa Mesa address one mile from our studio) ships tracked ground after the 72-hour prep. We don't run our own driver for one-off orders because single-drop routing doesn't pay for the rest of the program.

  • Cutoff is 2:00pm Pacific, Monday–Thursday.

Orders placed after 2pm PT or on Friday–Sunday start the 72-hour prep clock at 9am PT the next business day. Federal holidays are excluded from the count.

  • Custom-logo branded boxes add 7–14 days for printing.

Branded orders (logo ribbon, printed inserts, co-branded box) add 7–14 business days to the standard prep window for print lead time. We'll always tell you which timeline applies before you pay.

  • Alcohol requires signature and age 21+.

Wine ships under California Type 82. Spirits under AB 1246 (CA pilot, through 12/31/2026). If a recipient isn't available to sign, the courier makes two attempts, then returns the box for re-scheduling — that counts as a recipient delay, not ours.

  • Bad addresses and locked buildings pause the clock.

If a recipient's office is closed, security won't accept, or the address is wrong, we pause the count until you give us a working drop. We'll text you within an hour of the first failed attempt.

  • Prep-SLA miss: we credit the full shipping line.

If we miss the 72-hour prep window on something under our control, we credit the shipping charge on that order automatically. The gift itself still gets to the recipient — we just don't charge you for ground we didn't earn.

  • Acts of God, wildfire closures, I-5 shutdowns.

If CHP closes the 405 or an evac order lifts our driver off a hand-delivery route, we'll email you the same day with a revised ETA and the fastest alternative (usually tracked ship-to-home). Shipping is credited for any such delay over 24 hours.
