Batch the month's start dates
Send the month's starts on an agreed date — name, home address, start date, any notes — as a spreadsheet or the body of an email. Managed Monthly keeps a standing brief on file, so the month is a list, not a re-brief; a one-off cohort is quoted per batch.
Step 02
Collect home addresses without the Slack chase
A spreadsheet or an email is enough, or we collect the addresses for you. On an annual program, hires can enter their own address through a private gift page. Either way we flag a missing or ambiguous row before packing rather than shipping to a guess.
Step 03
Flag an allergy before the kit is built
Nut-free builds are available, but our studio is not an allergen-free facility. For a severe allergy, ask us first and we will send the ingredient statements. Put it in the notes column and we build that hire's kit accordingly.

Packed within 72 hours, on the doorstep before day one
Non-branded kits are packed within 72 hours and ship tracked ground to any US address, arriving 1–5 business days after packing. A cohort of 50 or more inside our 6-county Southern California footprint is hand-delivered free the day packing completes. If a start date is tight, tell us before you order and we confirm in writing whether it can be met.

- Can you build a nut-free kit for a hire with an allergy?
- We can build a box with no nut-containing items, and we do it often. We cannot call it allergen-free: every box is packed by hand in one studio, on shared surfaces, alongside products that contain nuts, dairy, soy and wheat, and we do not control what happens in our suppliers' facilities. If a recipient has a severe or anaphylactic allergy, tell us before you order — we will send you the actual ingredient and manufacturer allergen statements for that box so you, or they, can make the call. We would rather lose the order than guess.
- How far ahead should we order for a start date?
- Non-branded kits are packed within 72 hours, then normally ship tracked ground and arrive 1–5 business days after packing — so a start confirmed two weeks out is comfortably covered. Custom-branded kits add 7–14 business days of production before packing begins. If a start date is tight, tell us before you order — a few unbranded kits in Southern California can often go the same day, hand-delivered free — and we confirm in writing whether it can be met.
- Can we put our logo on the kit?
- Yes — inside the lid, on a custom insert card, or on the ribbon. Custom and logo-branded boxes start at 100 boxes. Branded kits add 7–14 business days of production before packing and are quoted with the order. We can also co-pack a branded item you already own — a mug, a hoodie from your swag vendor — alongside our curation, so the kit is still one delivery.
- How is a monthly onboarding program billed?
- Managed Monthly is billed monthly, for the boxes actually sent. There is no platform fee, no seat fee and no inventory fee — the kits are the only line item. Purchase-order invoicing and cost-center codes are available on request.
- Which cost center does a welcome kit usually sit in?
- Commonly the onboarding line under People Ops for day-one kits, the recognition or engagement line for work-anniversary refreshes, and a marketing or sales budget for client-gift batches. Cost-center codes on the invoice are supported on request so finance can split them without chasing you.
