No $13 shipping floor like the national competitors. National ship is a flat $25 when the buyer's moved out of state. 50+ box batches get same-day SoCal hand-delivery instead of ground ship.

How much lead time for customization?
Buyer-named card: no lead time — we write it once the order is in. Logo on the lid: 48 hours for the first order (we set up the print file), then zero lead time on reorders. Every order runs on our standard 72-hour prep window.
What's the substitutions policy?
If any item is out of stock on ship day, we swap it for an item of equal or greater value from the same category (artisan chocolate stays artisan chocolate). We email you the substitution before the box leaves the facility. You can veto it; we'll hold the order a day if you want to pick.
Who writes the handwritten card?
An in-house team in Long Beach hand-writes every card. You type the message at checkout; we write it in cursive on card stock. For firms with specific stationery requirements, upload your stock and we'll use it.
Can I include my own item in the box?
Yes. Common add-ins: an engraved cutting board, a signed copy of a book, a bottle of wine you already own. Ship it to our Long Beach facility, we co-pack for a $10 handling fee per box. No markup.
What's the SLA if something goes wrong?
Damaged items: replacement ships the same day we're notified. Missed 72-hour prep window: full refund or next box free, your call. Rotten perishables (rare because we ship cold): full refund plus a fresh box — we've seen Trustpilot on the national chains and we know what the standard has to be.
